About us

crittersandcompanionsmod.com is an independent fan site built by Minecraft players who love the Critters and Companions mod and wanted one clear, trustworthy place for downloads, guides and fixes.

What we do

We write step-by-step guides for installing the mod, taming companions, finding every critter and fixing common problems. Every download button on this site links to the official CurseForge or Modrinth project pages. We never host, modify or repackage the mod’s files.

How we test

Guides are written after playing the mod on real installs across Windows, macOS and Linux, using the Minecraft versions and loaders listed on the official files. When a new version is released, we re-check affected guides and update the “last updated” date.

Editorial standards

  • We say clearly when something is version-dependent or unconfirmed.
  • We correct mistakes quickly; send corrections through our contact page.
  • We don’t accept payment to change ratings or comparisons.

Independence

We are not affiliated with the mod’s developer, Mojang Studios or Microsoft. All trademarks belong to their owners. Read our disclaimer for details.
